Ted Doheny

Ted Doheny joined Sealed Air as Chief Operating Officer and CEO-Designate in September of 2017 and became President and CEO from 1 January 2018.

Ted has robust experience in leading industrial and manufacturing companies, most recently serving as CEO of Joy Global until May 2017. During his tenure with Joy Global, he focused the company on customer-centric strategies that developed innovations to address the customer’s challenges. He introduced operational excellence processes to all functions of the business to drive world-class performance. Prior to joining Joy Global in May 2006, Ted spent 21 years with Ingersoll Rand, where he held a variety of senior executive positions with global responsibility, including President of Air Solutions and President of Industrial Technologies. Ted holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Cornell University and a master’s degree in management from Purdue University.

Doheny is a member of Joy Global’s board of directors. He also is a member of the board of directors of JBT Corporation (NYSE:JBT), a leading global technology solutions provider to the food processing and air transport industries.
